You pay by the hour based on the EC2 instance size you choose to run this software. The 21 options map to AWS instance types across several families. General-purpose sizes include t2, t3, m3, m4, and m5. Compute-optimized sizes cover c3, c4, and c5. Memory-optimized sizes include r3, r4, and r5. Within each family, hourly rates scale with the compute, memory, and networking capacity of the instance. You pick the size that fits your workload, and billing follows actual usage hours. The software includes maintenance support.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
You pay for each hour the chosen EC2 instance runs the software. Each dimension maps to one AWS instance type, such as t3.medium or c5.large. The rate reflects that instance's compute, memory, and networking capacity. Billing tracks actual running hours, not calendar time.
Software charges accrue only while the instance runs. A fully stopped instance stops the hourly software charge. Underlying AWS storage or other resource fees may still apply while the instance is stopped, but the software meter counts running hours only.
Your hourly rate covers the software and maintenance support. The vendor provides technical support as described in the offer terms, plus scheduled and emergency maintenance to update the servers and software. Third-party products used alongside the software are your responsibility and are not supported.
