Overview
Provision your resources using a centralised, self-service catalogue.
With AWS Service Catalog you create and manage portfolios of preconfigured resources — virtual machines, databases and multi-tier applications defined by Infrastructure as Code templates — so that IT teams can quickly access and deploy the resources they need while adhering to organisational standards and rules. ORBIT designs, builds and operates that capability around your environment.
CHALLENGES WE ADDRESS
Resource standardisation — maintain consistency across resources and services from different teams. Governance and compliance — compliance breaches caused by unregulated provisioning no longer put you at risk. Operational efficiency — stop being constrained by slow manual checks and approvals. Cost management — detailed monitoring gives you control over resource costs. Version control — no more problems managing updates and versions of provided resources.
WHAT WE DELIVER
Curated product portfolio. Pre-approved AWS resources — EC2 instances, RDS databases, Lambda functions and complete multi-tier stacks — defined using CloudFormation or Terraform.
Version control. Updates are managed with backward compatibility maintained, integrated with your Git repositories for CloudFormation and Terraform templates, with outdated versions retired cleanly.
Access control. Tight integration with AWS Identity and Access Management, giving user- and group-specific permissions for provisioning.
Self-service portal. Teams independently provision approved resources without manual intervention, in a controlled deployment environment.
Governance and compliance. Predefined configurations enforce your organisational standards for security, compliance and cost optimisation. Administrators set protective measures such as enabled regions, instance types or budgets, minimising the risk of non-compliant resources and configuration drift.
Automation. AWS Lambda functions and EventBridge rules streamline operations, notifications and remediation of non-compliant resources.
THE OUTCOME
Operational efficiency. Self-service access to pre-approved cloud resources eliminates delays caused by manual approvals. Standardised templates ensure consistent, error-free deployments that comply with company policies, reducing downtime and accelerating project schedules.
Improved governance. Centralised control over the management and provisioning of resources aligns deployments with organisational standards and compliance requirements.
Flexibility and scalability. Administrators add new products and update existing ones through version management, so you can expand your resource portfolios and roll out updates smoothly as your estate grows.

HOW WE ENGAGE

We begin with discovery and assessment, agree a solution design with your team, deliver alongside your engineers, then validate and hand over so the capability is fully owned in-house. Optional post-delivery support and enablement can be included.
Scope, deliverables, timelines and commercials are captured in a Statement of Work agreed with you and transacted through AWS Marketplace as a private offer. Contact us to arrange a no-obligation scoping call.
