Version control. Updates are managed with backward compatibility maintained, integrated with your Git repositories for CloudFormation and Terraform templates, with outdated versions retired cleanly.

Access control. Tight integration with AWS Identity and Access Management, giving user- and group-specific permissions for provisioning.

Self-service portal. Teams independently provision approved resources without manual intervention, in a controlled deployment environment.

Governance and compliance. Predefined configurations enforce your organisational standards for security, compliance and cost optimisation. Administrators set protective measures such as enabled regions, instance types or budgets, minimising the risk of non-compliant resources and configuration drift.

Automation. AWS Lambda functions and EventBridge rules streamline operations, notifications and remediation of non-compliant resources.
