You pay by the hour for the EC2 instance size you run this software on. All 21 dimensions bill under the same usage model, so cost scales with how long each instance runs. The options span several instance families: burstable types (t2 and t3), general-purpose types (m3, m4, m5), compute-optimized types (c3, c4, c5), and memory-optimized types (r3, r4, r5). Sizes range from nano and micro up to 2xlarge. Choose an instance that matches your compute and memory needs. Software charges apply on top of standard AWS infrastructure fees.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does one hourly unit cover for these instance dimensions?
Each unit is one running EC2 instance of the chosen size, billed per hour. You pay for the software license plus the underlying AWS compute time. Larger instance sizes carry more vCPU and memory, so the hourly rate reflects the instance you select.
Am I charged when the instance is stopped or powered off?
Software charges meter running hours only. A fully stopped instance stops accruing hourly software fees. Standard AWS storage fees for attached volumes may still apply while the instance is stopped, since those are billed by AWS separately.
What support is included with this listing beyond the hourly software charge?
The vendor provides maintenance support, including version upgrades, security upgrades, and vulnerability handling. Certified engineers are available around the clock for day-to-day questions. These services accompany the software; the underlying AWS infrastructure fees remain separate and are billed by AWS.
