Overview
Who this is for
Online retailers, direct-to-consumer brands and eCommerce platforms in Canada, the United States and Europe running their storefront, checkout and order services on AWS, with in-house developers but no operations team on call. The buyer is the CTO, Head of Ecommerce or VP Engineering.
The problem
Traffic is predictable on most days and brutal on a few: Black Friday, holiday campaigns, product drops and flash sales. Those are the days when pages slow down, checkout errors climb and payment or inventory integrations time out, while the developers who know the system are also shipping the campaign. Incidents at night and on weekends wait for someone to notice.
What we deliver
Onboarding. We map the checkout path end to end, from content delivery and search to cart, payment and order services, set service level objectives for availability and latency on each step, and put alarms, synthetic checks and runbooks in place before the first on-call shift.
Monthly operations. Our engineers answer incidents around the clock, keep the platform patched and scaled, review cost and capacity each month, and coordinate releases with your developers so risky changes stay away from the busiest days.
Peak season. Before each agreed sales period we load test the checkout path, pre-scale capacity and raise quotas, agree a release freeze, and run a war room with your team through the event.
Reporting. A monthly report covers incidents, checkout-path service levels, capacity and cost, plus a review after each peak event.
This listing adds peak readiness and checkout-path service levels to platform operations. For general platform ownership, see Cloud & Platform Managed Services (MSP); for engineers who join your own on-call rotation, see On-Call Rotation Backup and Production Incident Response by Dedicatted.

AWS infrastructure charges
AWS bills you for everything the platform runs on, including extra capacity and quota increases for peak events, load-test traffic, CloudWatch Synthetics canaries and RUM sessions, and backups. We work through IAM roles you create.

Before you buy
- A scoping call confirms the storefront, checkout and order services in scope, your sales calendar and peak events, and the incident response hours you need, followed by a written scope and a private offer through AWS Marketplace.
During the service
- Production incidents reach our engineers through the paging route agreed at onboarding, with response targets written into the private offer.
- Other requests go by email or a shared channel, in English or French, with a named service lead and a monthly review.
Response time
- Requests that are not production incidents receive a response within two business days.
Ending the service
- Runbooks, alarm and synthetic check configuration, load-test scripts and peak reviews stay with your team, and our access is removed.
