Each hourly rate bundles the Castopod deployment with security scanning and 24/7 support from Hossted. Support includes a 30-minute response target and problem resolution that averages within 48 hours. You pay this software fee per running hour on top of any underlying AWS infrastructure charges.
The software fee meters running time only, so a fully stopped instance stops accruing hourly software charges. Stopped instances may still incur AWS storage costs for attached volumes, billed separately by AWS. To avoid software charges, keep the instance powered off when not in use.
