AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on actual usage, with charges varying according to how much you consume. Subscriptions have no end date and may be canceled any time. Alternatively, you can pay upfront for a contract, which typically covers your anticipated usage for the contract duration. Any usage beyond contract will incur additional usage-based costs.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
You pay by the hour for support tied to CentOS 9 (ARM) running on your chosen AWS instance type. Each dimension maps to one specific ARM-based EC2 instance, such as general-purpose, compute-optimized, memory-optimized, storage-optimized, or bare-metal sizes. Pricing scales with instance size, so smaller instances bill at lower hourly rates and larger ones at higher rates. You select the instance that matches your workload and pay only for the hours you run it. There is no upfront commitment; billing is usage-based across all instance options.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What am I paying for with each hourly instance dimension?
You pay for support and maintenance of CentOS 9 (ARM) running on that specific EC2 instance type. Each dimension bills per hour the instance runs. The charge covers the supported operating system and the support team, not the underlying AWS compute, which AWS bills separately.
Am I charged when my instance is stopped or powered off?
Hourly charges apply only while the instance runs. A stopped or powered-off instance does not accrue software support charges. Note that AWS may still bill separately for attached storage on stopped instances, but the per-hour support charge meters running time only.
How do I choose which instance dimension to buy?
You pick the single dimension matching the exact EC2 instance type you plan to run, such as a general-purpose, compute-optimized, memory-optimized, storage-optimized, or bare-metal ARM size. The support charge is tied to that instance type. Running multiple instance types means each accrues its own hourly charge independently.
