Access Server for AWS delivers the best-of-breed VPN solution for secure remote access, site-to-site VPN and secure SaaS access for organizations of all sizes. Access Server for AWS is a self-hosted VPN software that provides rapid deployment for secure remote access with a built-in web-based user interface for ease of use. Access Server provides an extra layer of security, with end-to-end encryption and granular access control to limit the risk of exposed data for remote users, site-to-site connectivity, or securing SaaS access and IoT devices. Certificate PKI management provides simplified installation and configuration. Additional features include balancing traffic across a cluster of Access Servers with DNS round robin and tunneling only your private traffic, optimizing your network bandwidth and making your environment more secure.

OpenVPN client software accommodates Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, iOS, and ChromeOS environments. Includes a built-in local authentication system and support for authentication with Active Directory, PAM, LDAP, RADIUS, SAML, and even a custom Python3 authentication module is possible.
Usage:
- Purchase the monthly or annual contract for the desired number of concurrent connections. If the number of connections you need is not available, please contact your AWS account manager or sales@openvpn.net .
- You will be redirected to openvpn.net to create an account.
- Use the CloudFormation template from the Access Server portal to deploy as many Access Servers as you need. All Access Servers will share the number of contracted connections.
- Login to Administration Portal of the deployed Access Server to manage and configure it.

What do you like best about the product?
It’s an excellent tool. I appreciate that it provides strong protection for private networks. It’s very reliable and doesn’t experience interruptions; once the connection is established, it stays active for as long as I need it. I also liked how easy it was to install, configure, and use overall.
What do you dislike about the product?
We can handle confidential information in a secure environment, and the documentation is detailed and easy to follow. It includes the necessary tunnel parameters and even configuration examples for the most popular devices.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use OpenVPN to connect to our network when we’re out of the office. It’s also helpful for connecting with our consultant. It feels very secure, and it lets us disable certificates at any time if needed.

It's great how they guided me, a complete newbie, to a fully working VPN, with fast replies usually within a day and succinct advice. What do you like best about the product?
The access server is easy to use and IT help is exceptional.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not had any issues thus far. Very easy to use. My purpose of use is for online schooling and it has been possible by using my personal laptop or computers at school.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solved my issue of Windows 11 not recognizing and opening the app. IT was able to detect the problem and helped me uninstall the old app and replace with a new one.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that the initial setup was very simple, especially on my phone. It also integrates seamlessly with desktop applications and browser extensions, providing robust protection against trackers and ads while ensuring privacy as I browse. I love that it offers the best privacy compared with its competitors, which often include a lot of advertising.

I like VPN solutions if offers, especially how it lets me access blocked sites. I appreciate the and blocking and anonymous browsing.

I use OpenVPN to browse the internet without ads, and it gives me more privacy by letting me access certain websites that are blocked in my region. I also find it very secure, whether I’m just browsing online or streaming videos.
