Amazon Machine Image (AMI)
An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.

Instructions for Using the Backstage Solution:
We provide a preconfigured Amazon Machine Image (AMI) featuring the Backstage App, integrated with a PostgreSQL database. The frontend of the application operates on port 3000, while the backend runs on port 7007. The AMI is launched in a Public Subnet. For enhanced security, it's recommended to open ports 3000 and 7007 exclusively for your Corporate IP CIDRs in the Security Group settings. To manage the Backstage service, utilize the following commands:
- Start the service: sudo systemctl start backstage-app
- Stop the service: sudo systemctl stop backstage-app
- Enable the service: sudo systemctl enable backstage-app
- Disable the service: sudo systemctl disable backstage-app
For accessing application logs, refer to the following files:
- /var/log/backstage/service.log
- /var/log/backstage/service_error.log
Stay in control and manage your Backstage solution effortlessly with these straightforward instructions.
