This is a repackaged open source software product wherein additional charges apply cause this Image was specially hardened and pre-configured for rapid deployment on Amazon Marketplace. It contains a ready-to-run Jellyfin Media Server that has been pre-tested for seamless performance in AWS Environments and is fully maintained.
The Jellyfin project is an open-source, software media server. No fees, no tracking, no hidden agenda. Get our cloud-hardened fully ready-to-run on AWS Jellyfin - Streaming Media Server to collect all your audio, video, photos, and more in one place.
A wide range of devices can be used to watch your media: a web browser on your computer, apps on your Android, iOS (including AirPlay), Android TV, or Fire TV device, or your Chromecast or existing Kodi installation. Clients for Roku and other platforms are on the way.
Lots of third-party plugins exist to provide additional feature functionality, making Jellyfin highly customizable. There is an official plugin repository that provides hosted plugins to install.
Jellyfin has no tracking, phone-home, or central servers collecting your data. The developer team believes in keeping software open and transparent, and anything that might be collected (crash logs, etc.) is opt-in only.
