If you are an AWS Free Tier customer with a free plan, you are eligible to subscribe to this offer. You can use free credits to cover the cost of eligible AWS infrastructure. See AWS Free Tier for more details. See Legacy AWS Free Tier for more details.
You pay by the hour for the EC2 instance size you run this software on. All 21 dimensions bill under the same usage model; they differ only by the underlying AWS instance type. Options span burstable families (t2 and t3, from t3.nano up to t2.2xlarge), general-purpose families (m3, m4, m5), compute-optimized families (c3, c4, c5), and memory-optimized families (r3, r4, r5). Larger instances carry more CPU and memory, so your hourly rate scales with the capacity you choose. You are billed only for the hours each instance runs.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What do I get for the hourly rate on a given instance type?
You get the software running on one EC2 instance of the size you select. The instance provides the CPU and memory tied to that family and size. Larger sizes carry more CPU and memory. You run one instance per hourly charge and pay separately for each running instance.
Am I charged when the instance is stopped or powered off?
The hourly software fee meters running time only. A fully stopped instance stops accruing the software charge. Note that AWS may still bill underlying storage or other resources for a stopped instance, but that is separate from the software charge shown here.
Is support included with the hourly charge, or billed separately?
The listing includes maintenance support with the software. The vendor states it provides technical support and 24/7 assistance, plus scheduled maintenance to update the servers and software. Support is delivered as part of the service rather than as a separate line item on the pricing table.
