Overview
Jedox is an enterprise planning and performance management platform designed for deployment in customer-managed cloud and Kubernetes environments using container technology. It supports budgeting, forecasting, scenario modelling, and integrated planning across finance and operational teams. The platform provides a unified environment for planning, analysis, and reporting, enabling organizations to make informed decisions through structured workflows and governed data processes. Key capabilities include web-based dashboards, interactive reporting, and dynamic data grids (DynaTables) for structured and collaborative data management. Advanced forecasting and scenario analysis features support forward-looking planning and what-if modelling. Built on over 20 years of development, Jedox integrates with ERP, CRM, and data warehouse systems using ETL processes or APIs. The containerized architecture allows customers to deploy Jedox within their own infrastructure, retaining full control over scaling, networking, security, and data residency. Jedox supports enterprise-grade security requirements, including role-based access control, audit trails, and segregation of duties. It is suitable for finance, sales, HR, operations, and strategic planning use cases where organisations require a flexible, self-managed planning platform deployed within their own cloud environment.

Container image
Containers are lightweight, portable execution environments that wrap server application software in a filesystem that includes everything it needs to run. Container applications run on supported container runtimes and orchestration services, such as Amazon Elastic Container Service (Amazon ECS) or Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (Amazon EKS). Both eliminate the need for you to install and operate your own container orchestration software by managing and scheduling containers on a scalable cluster of virtual machines.

2. PREREQUISITES
- Kubernetes Cluster: Amazon EKS (Compatible with v1.33.x).
- Compute Resources: Minimum 2 dedicated worker nodes. Recommended per node: 16 vCPU, 128 GB RAM, and 128 GB OS Disk.
- Storage: A StorageClass supporting ReadWriteMany (RWX) via NFS v3. Minimum 512 GB persistent storage.
- External Database: PostgreSQL instance required for ETL history.
- Ingress: NGINX Ingress Controller installed and configured..
3. DEPLOYMENT STEPS
STEP A: Authenticate to Marketplace Registry
Authenticate your Helm client to the Marketplace registry to pull the chart
aws ecr get-login-password --region us-east-1 | helm registry login --username AWS --password-stdin 709825985650.dkr.ecr.us-east-1.amazonaws.comSTEP B: Pull the Helm Chart
Pull the chart directly from the managed Marketplace repository:
helm pull oci://709825985650.dkr.ecr.us-east-1.amazonaws.com/jedox/jedox-enterprise-financial-planning --version 25.1.2 --untarSTEP C: Configuration
Navigate to the extracted jedox-enterprise-financial-planning directory and update values.yaml. Note: All 18 container images are hosted in the us-east-1 registry; the cluster must have cross-region pull access if deployed in other regions. Configure the following:
- Storage: Set fromStorageClass and NFS v3 mount parameters.
- Database: Provide your PostgreSQL host, user, and password.
- Ingress: Set your FQDN and DNS resolver IP.
- vhosts - Format: <namespace>.<apex-domain>.

STEP D: Install Jedox
Deploy to your EKS cluster: Use the following Helm command to deploy Jedox to the Kubernetes cluster:
helm install <release-name> . --namespace <namespace> --values values.yamlSTEP E: Ingress and certificates
After deployment, adjust Ingress controllers to point to the correct domain via the externalDomains parameter in values.yaml. Add A or CNAME records for each FQDN pointing to the cluster's ingress IP.
