Dimensions summary
You pay by the hour for a hardened Rocky Linux 10 machine image. Pricing follows the EC2 instance type you choose to run it on. Each dimension maps to one AWS instance type, from small shared instances like t3.nano up to large memory, compute, storage, GPU, and bare-metal options. Larger instances with more CPU, memory, or accelerators carry higher hourly rates. There are no tiers or commitments. You only pay for the hours each instance runs, and you can pick the size that fits each workload.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
Each dimension bills one running EC2 instance of the hardened Rocky Linux 10 image, charged per hour. One unit equals one instance of the size you launch, such as t3.nano or a bare-metal instance. Each running instance meters separately, so multiple instances add hours independently.
The hourly software charge meters running time only. A stopped instance does not accrue software hours. Underlying AWS storage and other resource fees may still apply while the instance is stopped, but the Rocky Linux 10 image charge stops accruing when the instance is not running.
Cost tracks the EC2 instance type you select for the image. Instances with more CPU, memory, storage, or accelerators carry higher hourly rates. There are no tiers or commitments, so switching to a different size simply changes the per-hour rate for the hours that instance runs.
