    Overview

    Remote professional services for the implementation of the DataDog solution in the AWS cloud, during the client's office hours from Monday to Friday, covering the following DataDog modules:

    • CloudFormation & Serverless Monitoring
    • Application Performance Monitoring (APM)
    • Real User Monitoring (RUM)
    • Database Monitoring
    • Cloud Network Monitoring Log
    • Monitoring Synthetic Testing
    • Cloud Monitoring (AWS Integration)

    The project is executed in four phases, as described below:

    1. Discovery: The project begins with an assessment phase to evaluate the current use of observability capabilities within the client’s infrastructure, including tagging strategy, log collection, user flows, alerting, and service monitoring. Based on this assessment, strategies will be defined for configuring the Datadog platform, including monitoring data sampling, business-critical dashboard configuration, and the specification of metrics, traces, logs, alerts, and incident tracking aligned with business priorities and optimization opportunities. The outcomes of the discovery phase will establish clear operational, business, and testing requirements that will guide all subsequent configuration and implementation efforts.
    2. Implementation: HPCg will design and build Datadog configurations across the client’s AWS infrastructure, including Kubernetes, applications, cloud services, databases, and event logging. This includes agent-based and Helm-based deployments, APM and RUM instrumentation using compatible Datadog tools, cloud and serverless integrations, database monitoring, and a structured logging strategy that balances visibility, security, and cost. HPCg will work directly with the client’s teams to implement, validate, and operationalize these configurations.
    3. Observability and Proactive Alerting: In this phase, HPCg will create dashboards, monitors, SLOs, and synthetic tests aligned with the business and operational objectives defined during the discovery phase. Alert routing will be integrated with existing incident management and ticketing systems to ensure that issues are detected and resolved efficiently. 4.Knowledge Transfer: Throughout the project, knowledge transfer will be embedded through collaboration and working sessions. In the final phase, HPCg will deliver recorded training sessions covering all implemented Datadog configurations, dashboards, monitors, and integrations, along with supporting documentation, ensuring that the client’s teams are fully prepared to independently operate and scale the observability platform
