An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.

Usage instructions
The following steps outline how to launch a CATALYST Professional AMI: 1 - On the CATALYST Professional product page select Continue to subscribe. 2 - Accept the EULA and subscribe to the product. 3 - Select Continue to Configuration. 4 - Adjust the configuration as required. 5 - Select Continue to Launch to quick-launch the specified EC2 instance. You can also open your AWS Marketplace console to see current subscriptions and start an instance. https://console.aws.amazon.com/marketplace/home#/subscriptions 6 - Connect to the EC2 instance using Remote Desktop (RDP). https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AWSEC2/latest/WindowsGuide/connecting_to_windows_instance.html#connect-rdp 7 - Once you are connected to the machine, start the CATALYST Professional software from the icon on the desktop.
