You buy an IronDefense monthly subscription at the Enterprise level through a contract. The four options scale by network throughput capacity: 1G, 3G, 5G, and 10G. Each covers the same network detection and response platform, but the capacity you pick sets how much network traffic the deployment can process. Higher throughput tiers suit larger network environments. You select the tier that matches your traffic volume, then bill on a monthly subscription basis. All tiers are priced per unit under the contract model.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does the throughput capacity, such as 1G or 10G, actually measure?
The G value sets the network traffic rate your deployment can process, measured in gigabits per second. IronDefense ingests north-south traffic at your perimeter and east-west traffic inside your enterprise. Your tier caps how much of this combined traffic the platform can analyze. Match the tier to your total network volume.
What happens if my network traffic grows beyond the tier I selected?
Each tier is a fixed monthly subscription unit tied to a set throughput ceiling. Growth beyond your ceiling does not add automatic overage charges. You move to a higher-capacity tier, such as from 3G to 5G, by selecting that option. The change is a manual tier selection, not an automatic upgrade.
Does the monthly subscription include the Collective Defense sharing capability?
The subscription covers the IronDefense network detection and response platform. IronDefense works with the IronDome Collective Defense solution to share anonymized threat insights with industry peers. Whether that companion capability is bundled at your tier is not specified here. Contact the vendor to confirm what is included with your subscription.

Customers must have IronSensors prior to the purchase of IronCloud. After purchase, IronNet will contact the customer within 48 hours to confirm that IronSensors are in place within their organization. It is the responsibility of customers who do not have IronSensors AND DO NOT want to procure IronSensors to contact IronNet to request a refund within 48 hours of purchase.
