Overview
The on-site evaluation begins with a comprehensive assessment to map the installation's existing infrastructure, including power, water, facilities, security systems, and communications. Evaluators analyze how legacy equipment currently operates alongside modern technologies to pinpoint areas where fragmented visibility and siloed operational environments increase the risk of unplanned downtime. By understanding current cybersecurity measures, network configurations, and system data outputs, the team identifies the specific technical and operational prerequisites necessary to integrate these disparate inputs securely. This baseline ensures that the transition to a unified operational picture can be achieved seamlessly without requiring the costly replacement of your existing functional systems.
Following the assessment, the evaluation delivers a site architecture that maps out a secure integration layer tailored to the facility's unique operational demands and the customer's compliance requirements. This blueprint models exactly how fragmented data streams from utilities, energy platforms, and operational technologies will connect to provide a single, unified operational view across all domains. Crucially, the design embeds continuous cybersecurity monitoring directly into the framework rather than treating it as an added compliance layer, ensuring strict alignment with Zero Trust principles.
The engagement culminates in a roadmap of implementation recommendations designed to reverse the operational costs of fragmentation and restore speed to decision-making. This includes a phased deployment strategy for machine-assisted rulesets that will generate trusted, correlated alerts, dramatically reducing false alarms, unexplained activations, and unnecessary technician dispatches. These recommendations focus on operationalizing proactive early warning capabilities so that emerging vulnerabilities are identified and analyzed before they escalate into mission degradation. By providing a clear, actionable path to a unified operational environment, this evaluation equips installation leaders with the continuous visibility required to ensure infrastructure never becomes the reason a mission fails.

Vendor support
Support for this time-limited project is provided on-site and through a dedicated account manager for the duration of the project.
For deployed infrastructure, Simplesense will monitor for and respond to all incidents inside of core duty hours, 0900-1700 local time, Monday through Friday, except US Federal holidays and other Government-observed days where installation access is limited. When Simplesense requires coordination for physical access (i.e. 48-hour access to the data center or ICD705 space coordination), response times will be based on initial access time instead of maximum tolerable downtime (MTD) if not resolvable remotely.
Core platform outage: 4 business hour Recovery Time Objective (RTO), Next Business Day Maximum Tolerable Downtime (MTD)
