Our Automated Snapshot Tool (Service) for AWS is designed to greatly simplify this process – it provides a way to rapidly categorize all your existing snapshots, and make recommendations for cleanups, based on rules that you provide. Eligible snapshots can then be automatically cleaned up with no manual effort from your team.
