However, this requires specialist expertise due to the high-performance (e.g. low and consistent latency, high throughput), security and regulatory requirements along with the complexity of migrating existing systems that have been engineered to run on physical hardware.

BJSS have decades of cloud and trading systems experience and provide a consulting and technical delivery engagement to guide clients on their cloud journey to define the optimal strategy, architecture and migration path that delivers accelerated business value. We published a whitepaper documenting our performance testing of an FX Trading System in three public clouds (AWS, Azure and OCI). We demonstrated that we could achieve deterministic latency for an FX Trade flow between an Order Book and Matching engine sub ½-millisecond at an order rate of 10,000 orders/second.
