Overview
Flomenco Managed Services
Flomenco Managed Services provides ongoing coverage from media operations specialists who know Flo and AWS media infrastructure. As an AWS Partner Network member, our team of former AWS Principal Solutions Architects works alongside your producers, ops, and engineering teams to monitor workflows, handle exceptions, and keep automations healthy as your library, channels, and team grow.
Customers running hundreds of workflows and hundreds of millions of workflow executions each month rely on Flomenco Managed Services to keep production running smoothly.
What We Deliver
- Workflow monitoring. Proactive checks on scheduled runs, queue health, and failed jobs so issues are caught before they block delivery.
- Exception handling. Triage and resolve workflow exceptions with your team, including QC failures, metadata gaps, and approval bottlenecks. Response time is typically under 2 hours (tier-dependent), with resolution targets under 1 business day.
- Continuous improvement. Regular reviews of credit usage, workflow performance, and new automation opportunities as content volume changes. Customers have seen workflow success rates improve from 96% to 99.5% in under 3 months.
- Dedicated coverage. A named services team that knows your stack, SLAs, and approval rules - built for teams that want Flo running in production without adding media ops headcount.
Pricing Model
Flomenco Managed Services is available priced per workflow, as a monthly retainer, or via custom quote depending on your needs. Engagements are structured on a quarterly basis. Contact us for a coverage scoping session to determine the right model for your environment.
Prerequisites and Scope
Prerequisites:
- Flo must be live or going live in your AWS environment.
- Managed Services typically works with your operational teams that provide inputs to and consume outputs from the platform and workflows.
- If Flomenco did not build the workflows, a one-time readiness assessment and workflow documentation fee may apply before coverage begins.
Onboarding timeline: From engagement start to full operational monitoring coverage takes 2-4 weeks depending on the number of workflows in production, with initial coverage beginning within 2 weeks.
In scope: Monitoring, exception triage, and resolution for existing production workflows. Fixing existing workflows is included.
Out of scope: Net new workflow creation. Coverage hours and time zones are agreement-dependent.
Why Flomenco
Our Managed Services team brings deep Flo platform expertise combined with hands-on AWS media experience. They understand Amazon S3, AWS media services, and the DAMs, MAMs, rights tools, and delivery systems media organizations rely on. With an average resolution time of less than 8 hours and proven workflow success rate improvements, the team delivers measurable operational results from day one.
When to Choose Managed Services
Choose Managed Services when Flo is live or going live and you want Flomenco to help run day-to-day media operations - not only the initial implementation. Common fits include:
- Production workflows that need proactive monitoring and exception triage
- Teams that cannot staff dedicated media ops coverage
- Environments with complex metadata, QC, or approval paths
- Organizations that want continuous optimization as catalog and channel volume grow
How It Pairs with Professional Services
Professional Services launches Flo on your stack. Managed Services keeps it healthy afterward. Many customers start with a Professional Services engagement for architecture, integrations, and cutover, then continue with Managed Services for ongoing monitoring and exception handling.
Security and Access
Flomenco's Managed Services team operates within your production environment using multi-factor authentication (MFA), role-based access controls, and time-limited credentials. Coverage is scoped to agreed workflows, escalation paths, and approval rules defined in your services agreement. Contact us to discuss additional security requirements specific to your organization.
