Overview
agentgateway is an open source, AI-native data plane for connecting AI agents, MCP tools, and LLMs. Built on the Kubernetes Gateway API, it brings protocol-aware routing (MCP, A2A), LLM routing and failover, prompt guards, and zero-trust security to agentic workloads, with enterprise support from Solo.io.
This product deploys agentgateway to Amazon EKS (and EKS-Anywhere) via a Helm chart or EKS Add-on. It is intended for platform and AI engineering teams, DevOps engineers, and security professionals running agentic and LLM workloads on Kubernetes across finance, healthcare, retail, and technology.
Prerequisite: the upstream Kubernetes Gateway API CRDs (v1.5.0+) must be installed in the cluster. Foundational Kubernetes knowledge is recommended.
