The Startup Migrate Assessment Program (SMAP) is designed for clients looking to move from competitive platforms, colocation or on-premises environments to the AWS Cloud. As an approved SMAP Partner, Uturn Data Solutions leverages AWS funding to conduct a detailed assessment and deliver a business case that provides clients with the data required to make informed cloud migration and modernization decisions, and how best to proceed with future steps.

Through our detailed assessment process, Uturn works with Startup clients to understand their business, application, & technical environments, including server architectures, applications dependencies, database inventories, and much more.

After completing your needs assessment, Uturn will provide a detailed report of the findings, including recommended migration strategy for an optimized cloud infrastructure design, as well as estimated costs for current and future state needs. The report will include target architecture diagrams and/or data flow diagrams, and a list of the tools required to test the recommended strategies/patterns in preparation for a future migration to AWS.
