The AWS Native Water Management Platform is a first of its kind solution for water intelligence and management to help advance sustainability and operational efficiencies. The availability of water, a key sustainable development goal for the world, is a critical business imperative for resource dependent industries. The SaaS water management platform is built to decrease the amount of fresh water captured from local sources through optimizing reuse of water and to decrease disposal and discharge of water across the operations of a company. This platform addresses the entire water lifecycle from source to treatment, recycle, reuse and disposal to enable organizations to seek water neutrality alongside net zero carbon emissions for a sustainable future. The platform has a defined data dictionary and ETLs to source data from various financial and operational sources, integrating the data with weather and third party information to then visualize across the assets of a company. With all the available data, users can run optimization scenarios which will provide recommendations on a daily level, based upon defined objectives. These are currently focused on cost reduction, water reuse, disposal reduction, and energy efficiency.
