Pricing is based on actual usage, with charges varying according to how much you consume. Subscriptions have no end date and may be canceled any time. Alternatively, you can pay upfront for a contract, which typically covers your anticipated usage for the contract duration. Any usage beyond contract will incur additional usage-based costs.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
You pay by the hour for Nginx running on Amazon Linux 2 (ARM), with Apollo support included. Pricing follows your chosen EC2 Graviton (ARM) instance type. Each dimension maps to one instance size, so your hourly rate scales with the compute, memory, and storage that instance provides. Options span general-purpose (m-family, t4g), compute-optimized (c-family), memory-optimized (r-family, x2gd), storage-focused (i4g, im4gn, is4gen), and graphics (g5g) families. Sizes run from small (medium, large) to metal. You select the instance that fits your workload and pay only for hours used.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does one hourly unit cover for these instance types?
Each hourly unit covers one running EC2 Graviton (ARM) instance of the size you pick. Your rate reflects that instance's compute, memory, and storage. Nginx runs on Amazon Linux 2 with Apollo support included. You pay per hour the instance runs.
Am I charged when my instance is stopped?
The software charge meters running instance-hours only. A fully stopped instance stops accruing the Nginx software fee. Underlying AWS storage fees for the instance may still apply while it is stopped, but those come from AWS, not this listing.
What is included with the hourly rate besides Nginx?
The rate includes Nginx preinstalled on Amazon Linux 2 (ARM) with Apollo support. Apollo hardens the image using industry-standard frameworks and provides on-demand support by email, phone, and chat. No separate charge for support appears on the listing; it is bundled into the hourly rate.
