Dimensions summary
You pay an hourly software fee for the StigReady Base image on Rocky Linux 9 (arm64). The fourteen dimensions are not tiers. Each one maps to a specific AWS Graviton (arm64) EC2 instance type, and all carry the same per-hour software rate. You pick the instance size that fits your workload, from t4g.micro through c6g.xlarge, spanning general-purpose and compute-optimized families. Billing runs by the hour that each instance is running. This software fee is separate from your normal EC2 instance costs, which AWS bills on their own.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
The fee covers a Rocky Linux 9 arm64 image carrying the STIG partition layout and SSH hardening, built from the official ISO and fully patched. You bring your own profiles, Ansible, and tooling. Remediation and OpenSCAP evidence are not part of this Base image.
The software fee meters each hour an instance runs. Stopped instances do not accrue the hourly software charge. Underlying AWS storage costs may still apply while an instance is stopped, since those are billed separately by AWS.

Subscribe in AWS Marketplace, then launch in EC2 with your SSH key pair. Connect via SSH as ec2-user. The recommended security group allows SSH (TCP 22) only from private RFC 1918 ranges, never the internet; set your admin network range at launch.
