    Manually launching the Connector from the AWS Marketplace is an alternative to launching the Connector directly from BlueXP.

Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.

    Usage instructions

    1. Prepare a VPC and subnet for the Connector instance. The network location should have connectivity to the location where you are planning to create and manage storage systems.
    2. Create an IAM role that includes the policies shown in the BlueXP documentation: https://docs.netapp.com/us-en/bluexp-setup-admin/reference-permissions-aws.html 
    3. Launch the Connector instance from this listing.
    4. Open a web browser from a host that has a connection to the Connector instance and enter the instance IP address.
    5. Log in to BlueXP and set up the Connector.
