    Overview

    IBM OSDU Solution is based on The Open Group “Open Subsurface Data Universe” Forum code and delivers enterprise-grade secure and supported OSDU compliant data platform. This data platform helps energy companies reduce cost, time and resources needed to access and use their data to derive insight, streamlining operations and transition to sustainable energy generation. It includes all software and services for deployment, operation & administration of the IBM OSDU data platform. IBM Solution is vendor neutral, and infrastructure-agnostic, as it is based on Red Hat OpenShift technology, which makes it ideal for on-premise deployment. IBM keeps it current with the OSDU Forum emerging standards and milestones. The Solution is pre-integrated with the AWS Cloud and provided in a go-to-market and co-development partnerships with AWS. This collaboration provides our customers with flexibility to run OSDU data platform and compatible applications on the AWS Cloud or on-premises to comply with data residency legislations. Combined with the expansive cloud infrastructure of AWS cloud services.
