Financing for AWS Marketplace purchases
AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor, and additional usage. You pay upfront or in installments according to your contract terms with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. Usage-based pricing is in effect for overages or additional usage not covered in the contract. These charges are applied on top of the contract price. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before the contract end date, access to your entitlements will expire.

This contract-based listing has two separate charges. The AI Gateway Base Platform Fee is a fixed fee for access to the managed service. The RIO Fee is a variable charge tied to results. You pay it per $1 of AWS cost savings the Reserved Instance Operations service generates for you. So one dimension is a flat platform cost, while the other scales with the savings delivered. Together they combine a set base fee with performance-linked billing. Contact the vendor to confirm your specific totals.

The RIO Fee scales with the savings the Reserved Instance Operations service produces. It manages your Reserved Instances and Savings Plans purchasing. You pay a set amount for each dollar of AWS cost reduction generated. If the service produces no savings in a period, this fee reflects that.
Both charges apply together on the same contract. The AI Gateway Base Platform Fee stays fixed regardless of activity. The RIO Fee rises with the AWS cost savings delivered. The platform fee dominates when savings are low; the RIO Fee grows as more savings are generated.
The AI Gateway Base Platform Fee is a fixed charge for access to the managed service. It does not scale with usage, activity levels, or the number of tasks handled. Only the separate RIO Fee varies, and it moves with the AWS cost savings produced.
