Overview
RateSpot is a comprehensive financial tool offering five distinct features, all accessible via a side-menu with a sleek black background and white text/icons. In the top right corner, users can either log in or create an account, ensuring a personalized experience. Here's a breakdown of its key features:
Price Feed:
Section 1: Visualizes mortgage rates with horizontal bars representing different mortgage types, accompanied by the minimum and maximum rates on the sides. The vertical line indicates the average rate's position and moves across the bar to show its relation to the minimum and maximum rates. Beneath each bar, users can see the average monthly mortgage payments. Section 2: Offers an array of filters for refining data, including loan purpose, zipcode, rate lock usage, credit score ranges, down payment percentages, FHA/VA loans inclusion, specific lender selection, and points type. Users can download filtered data. Section 3: Presents a table displaying property listings with details like address, price (with variations in green or red), rent, beds, baths, area, and DOM. Users can also navigate through multiple pages of listings and select the home type. Section 4: Features an interactive map where users can zoom in/out to view labeled house listings with prices. Clicking on a listing in Section 3 will highlight its location on the map. Section 5: Provides a table with detailed information on available mortgages based on selected filters. Users can sort the table by clicking on column headers and also download this data. Rate Sheet:
Section 1: Offers three tables in a horizontal layout. The first table displays Current MBS Prices for different mortgage products. The second table, "Lender Price Ranking," enables users to select rates from a dropdown menu and provides lender rankings with prices and percentiles. The third table contains various filter options that impact all sections in the rate sheet. Section 2: Presents a table showing rates and available lenders, allowing users to sort by headers. A download button is provided for exporting data. Historical Data:
Section 1: Allows users to select a date range with "FROM" and "TO" inputs and offers a "refresh" button to update the data within the chosen range. Section 2: Displays a table with columns for date, time left (before data expiration), and download links for historical data. Users can access and download historical data on a daily basis. With its user-friendly interface and robust features, RateSpot empowers users to monitor mortgage rates, explore property listings, and access historical financial data efficiently. Its interactive maps, detailed tables, and extensive filtering options make it an invaluable tool for individuals seeking real-time mortgage information, lender comparisons, and historical financial trends.
