Overview
The PatientShare app is a SMART on FHIR clinical data viewer allowing patients, clinicians, family care-givers and community based organizations to easily view the complete patient record. The app is the first ever Drummond Certified SMART-on-FHIR client facing appliction.
-- How the PatientShare App Works -- PatientShare is a FHIR-first solution, supporting the FHIR API (R4) standard, so you can easily use it with your FHIR endpoint to meet the ONC FHIR mandate. The PatientShare app is web-based and works on desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
-- What's Included -- The out of the box configuration includes the following US Core Data for Interoperability (USCDI) resources: Patient Demographics, Medications, Allergies, Immunizations, Vital Signs, Conditions, and Lab Results. The PatientShare app can support many of the newer resources and standards, including CMS Assessment resources, Advance Directives, the International Patient Summary, Care Teams and Care Plans, including eLTSS (Long-term Services and Support) and MCC (Multiple Chronic Conditions) eCarePlans. ** Contact Patient Centric Solutions if you are interested to activate any of these advanced features.
-- Easily Meet the ONC FHIR Mandate with the PatientShare App -- The ONC mandate requires that all providers and HIEs provide a FHIR API so patients can access their data with an app of their choice. Consider providing the reliable, Drummond Certified, PatientShare App.

Container image
Containers are lightweight, portable execution environments that wrap server application software in a filesystem that includes everything it needs to run. Container applications run on supported container runtimes and orchestration services, such as Amazon Elastic Container Service (Amazon ECS) or Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (Amazon EKS). Both eliminate the need for you to install and operate your own container orchestration software by managing and scheduling containers on a scalable cluster of virtual machines.

Usage instructions
The Docker image container includes a web server and applicaiton files that will the run the application in a web browser out-of-the-box. Follow the steps below to purchase, configure and execute the image as a container. The image will run on any port externally that is configured to correspond to port 80 from the container.
The FHIR Viewer is configured to source data from an existing test server. Repointing the Viewer can be easily achieved by editing a configuration file in the HTML directory of the onboard NGINX server. The Viewer is also easily configured to run as a SMART-on-FHIR server with one configuration change.
Note: a basic understanding of Docker containers is expected if you are purchasing a Docker container.

Support
Vendor support
The Patient Centric Solutions technical team has developed a streamlined approach to addressing support needs and, if required, developing customized solutions for customers. The process is supported by leveraging stable, existing modular software as a foundation for these solutions. The team then works directly with key stakeholders / end users from the project inception to define and refine the requirements. Concepts from the Agile approach to are used to develop, test, build and deploy regularly to platforms that allow the end-user to continually review and test and be involved in the software life-cycle.
The PatientShare viewer has been developed with a configuration that allows for a number of features to be manipulated based on user-determined property settings. As new features are requested or determined to fit into the development roadmap, these are aligned with the predetermined release cycles and moved into the development process.
In situations where the effort includes integrating with disparate third-party systems, the third-party technical teams are also involved in the development process at the earliest possible point. Technical teams will leverage sandbox environments or mock endpoints to generate the expected interactions if needed. These are ultimately transitioned to production environments also at appropriate junctures.
