Overview
AppIQ accelerates legacy application modernization by combining an AWS native, event driven architecture with generative AI–driven intelligence. Built entirely on AWS, AppIQ establishes a validated structural context using CAST (industry-recognized software platform for performing structural analysis on static code) analysis, providing a deterministic foundation that constrains agent reasoning, improves accuracy, and optimizes token usage. The platform orchestrates agent based workflows as a first class engineering discipline, powered by a Bedrock AgentCore–based architecture, to extract business rules, process flows, and functional specifications at a deep, code bundle level. These outputs are tailored to the decision needs of key personas across the modernization value stream from architects and analysts to developers and delivery teams. By exposing this curated legacy knowledge through MCP and integrating seamlessly with developer tools such as VS Code and AI pair programmers (for example, Kiro), AppIQ enables forward engineering without disrupting existing development ecosystems, reducing risk while accelerating modernization from legacy stacks to cloud native architectures.
