Fraud Shield uses one usage-based pricing dimension billed per request. Each request represents a transaction that the service monitors in real time to detect anomalies and prevent fraud. Your cost scales directly with the number of requests you send. There are no tiers or fixed commitments. You pay only for the volume you use, so charges rise or fall with your transaction activity.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one request for billing purposes?
A request is one transaction the service analyses in real time to check for fraud. Each transaction you send for monitoring counts as a single billable request. The service can process high transaction volumes, and every submitted transaction is metered separately.
How does my bill change as my transaction volume rises or falls?
Your cost tracks your request count directly. Send more transactions for monitoring and your charges rise. Send fewer and they fall. There are no tiers or thresholds to cross, so each request is billed the same way regardless of your total volume.
Am I charged during periods when I send no transactions?
Billing is based on requests sent for monitoring. During periods with no transactions submitted, no requests are metered. Charges accrue only when you send transactions for the service to analyse, so idle periods with zero activity generate no request charges.
