OrangeFS is a parallel file system designed for use on high end computing (HEC) systems to provide very high performance access to disk storage for parallel applications. This AMI contains one instance with 8 drives of 200 IOPS each, giving a total storage of 1.28 TB. Larger clustered configurations up to 20 TBs available. See Installation Instructions for more detail.
