An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.

Usage instructions
Once the instance is running, enter http://instance-public-ip into your browser. Wait for the instance health checks to pass. You will then see the n8n registration page, where you need to enter details like Email, First Name, Last Name, and Password.
You can also access your instance via SSH using the username ubuntu and your Amazon private key.

What is our primary use case?
We mainly use it for automating repetitive workflows between different tools such as Slack, Google Sheets, and internal APIs. It helps us set up end-to-end process automation without much coding effort.
How has it helped my organization?
It has saved us a lot of manual effort and time. Earlier, we had to rely on custom scripts and cron jobs, but now everything runs smoothly using n8n flows. The Intuz support team was also quick to help whenever we needed setup assistance or faced configuration issues. Overall, it has made our internal operations more efficient.
What is most valuable?
The drag-and-drop workflow builder is the best part—it’s intuitive and easy to use. The pre-built integrations with common services also save a lot of time. Additionally, having maintenance support from Intuz gives us peace of mind that everything stays updated and stable.
What needs improvement?
The product is already great for most use cases. It would be helpful to see a few more native integrations with project management tools such as Asana or Monday.com in future releases.

We have been using the solution for around one year.
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
We used Zapier before, but it became expensive and restrictive for some complex automations. With n8n , we have more flexibility and control, and it is far more affordable to run on AWS .

The pricing is very fair. It is free to start with, which makes it perfect for small teams or startups who want to explore automation without heavy upfront costs. Even with Intuz’s maintenance support, the overall value you get for the stability and setup assistance is excellent.
Which other solutions did I evaluate?
We compared n8n with Zapier and Integromat (Make ). n8n stood out because it is open-source, highly customizable, and comes with great support from Intuz.
What other advice do I have?
If you are looking for a reliable and flexible automation solution on AWSÂ , this AMI is a great pick. The setup is quick, performance is solid, and Intuz provides excellent post-deployment support. You can scale easily as your workflows grow. It is definitely worth trying out.
