Secure remote access has transformed how our teams collaborate and share internal data globally

    Reviewed on Apr 12, 2026
Review from a verified AWS customer

What is our primary use case?

My main use case for FileCloud  is that we recently implemented it to host our data externally using HTTPS instead of placing our data on a third-party cloud solution or using VPN technologies.

    What is most valuable?

FileCloud  offers excellent features including a very effective tool, an easy-to-use web view UI, simple administration, and a mobile app that makes remote collaboration and working on the go very convenient.

The mobile app has specifically helped my team work more efficiently and improved collaboration, as it has been very helpful with many of our staff members working remotely and on the move.

FileCloud has positively impacted my organization by helping our staff members be more productive in accessing the data they need at any time from anywhere in the world, thereby improving collaboration. Our remote collaboration has greatly improved, specifically increasing from 45% to 65.8%, and members have become more productive.

    What needs improvement?

FileCloud can be improved by making it easier to set up drive mount on a Mac without the use of other applications to make it work like a Fuse .

Updates need to be more apparent to FileCloud Drive. I rate FileCloud a nine out of ten because what would make it a perfect ten for me is that updates need to be more apparent to FileCloud Drive.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using FileCloud for eight years.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

    FileCloud is stable.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

FileCloud's scalability has been highly scalable, growing with my organization's needs.

How are customer service and support?

Customer support is very responsive and proactive.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

I previously used OneDrive, Dropbox, and Box, and I switched because of my experience with those solutions.

    What was our ROI?

I have seen a return on investment as FileCloud has allowed us to share our files easily and manage our cloud shares as we needed.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

My experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing has been that it is very cost-effective and affordable.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

Before choosing FileCloud, I evaluated other options, including Box.

What other advice do I have?

We are able to access internal file server data from anywhere on the planet with an internet connection, send out emails with expiration dates and password links with access control, and FileCloud integrates with NTFS and Active Directory seamlessly. I rate this product nine out of ten.

Which deployment model are you using for this solution?

If public cloud, private cloud, or hybrid cloud, which cloud provider do you use?

Cloud access has transformed secure document sharing and daily collaboration across teams

    Reviewed on Apr 08, 2026
Review from a verified AWS customer

What is our primary use case?

My main use case for FileCloud  is that I love the web GUI; it's very easy to use and very easy to customize. I also love the mobile app, which is very intuitive and easy to use on the go.

I use FileCloud  in my day-to-day work as it is used by our organization as a central location to store all our company shared documents, as well as our personal work documents. It's also used as a cloud storage solution, so we can access our company files from anywhere at any time as long as we are connected to the internet.

    What is most valuable?

We are able to utilize a cloud storage system in an effective manner, hence collaboration has improved, especially because we are able to share files and access files at any time.

In my opinion, the best features FileCloud offers include the ability to access internal file server data from anywhere on the planet with an internet connection. It allows sending out emails with expiration dates, password, link, and access control. I can also send out attachments that are over the email limit for downloading, and it integrates very seamlessly with NTFS and Active Directory. Furthermore, there is an integration plugin for Outlook and Office applications.

The integration of NTFS and Active Directory helps my workflow and organization as it allows a lot of staff members who work remotely and on the move to access their data on our secured central servers without having to use VPN technologies. The Outlook plugin fits into my daily routine by providing seamless access to files directly from my email.

I find FileCloud to be a great tool; it is very cost-effective and easy to use, accessible at any place at any time as long as I have an internet connection.

    What needs improvement?

I can share specific outcomes or metrics showing that it has allowed us to share our files easily, hence increasing collaboration. It has allowed us to manage our cloud shares as we see fit, although the need to uninstall and reinstall after every other update was a little time-consuming.

FileCloud can be improved since the need to uninstall or reinstall after every other update is a little time-consuming.

I would like updates to be more apparent to FileCloud Drive, as this could improve my experience.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using FileCloud for the past four years.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

    FileCloud is stable.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

FileCloud's scalability is very good; it can handle my organization's growth.

How are customer service and support?

The customer support is very responsive and proactive.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

I previously used OneDrive and Dropbox before switching to FileCloud.

    What was our ROI?

I have seen a return on investment, as it has allowed us to share our files easily, hence promoting collaboration. Collaboration has improved from 40% to 65%.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

My experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing is that it is very cost-effective.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

Before choosing FileCloud, I evaluated other options, such as Box.

What other advice do I have?

My advice to others looking into using FileCloud is that it is well-suited for companies that want to utilize a cloud storage system but not use products such as Box or OneDrive. It allows every company to host everything on their own servers and have full administrative access to everything they need.

FileCloud is deployed in our organization as a hybrid cloud.

We use Amazon as our cloud provider for the hybrid deployment.

    I rate this review a 9 out of 10.

Remote storage has improved how I organize files and share data with colleagues

    Reviewed on Apr 06, 2026
Review from a verified AWS customer

What is our primary use case?

My main use case for FileCloud  is storing my data as a storage solution. I used FileCloud  for storing my personal files, data, photos, and other things similar to how I would use Google Drive .

    What is most valuable?

I organize my files in FileCloud using the creation of folders, structures, and permissions. In my opinion, the best features FileCloud offers are more storage, a good UI interface, a good way to organize files, folder structure, and permissions.

When I mention the UI interface and organizing files, I find that it is not that great. It is the same as other providers such as Google Drive  and OneDrive, but it is a good UI. FileCloud has not positively impacted my organization's efficiency. It does provide storage where we can store our data.

Having that storage in FileCloud has helped my workflow by allowing me to store data on a file share other than storing it in our local storage. We can also share it with other colleagues. In that way, it functions as a shared storage.

    What needs improvement?

FileCloud can be improved by making some integrations with other things and integration with local storage.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using FileCloud for the past 11 or 12 months.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

FileCloud is stable for my needs, but it can be improved.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

FileCloud's scalability has met my needs as my data grows, and I have not faced any trouble.

How are customer service and support?

I have not had much experience with FileCloud's customer support because we have not needed to reach out to them yet.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

We were using only our local storage before switching to FileCloud.

    How was the initial setup?

FileCloud is deployed in our organization on our public cloud. We use AWS  as our cloud provider for FileCloud. We have not purchased FileCloud through the AWS Marketplace . We have set it up on our AWS  instance.

    What was our ROI?

I am not the right person to share details about the return on investment so far because we are still exploring the pricing models and other things.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

We are currently exploring the pricing models of FileCloud, including setup costs and licensing. In those pricing models, we are looking at both costs and features.

What other advice do I have?

My advice for others looking into using FileCloud is that you can use it for remote storage. It is good and better than other providers. I gave FileCloud a review rating of 8.

Secure file sharing has boosted remote teamwork and improved data access for our clients

    Reviewed on Mar 05, 2026
Review from a verified AWS customer

What is our primary use case?

My main use case for FileCloud  is securely sharing data, as one of the primary uses of FileCloud  in my organization is securely sharing data with both internal and external clients. This has made it very useful, particularly for remote team members and to facilitate effective collaboration. It is an efficient solution for storing and accessing files in a central location, thereby improving productivity and efficiency.

A specific example of how I have used FileCloud to securely share data with a client or my remote team is that it provides a branded file storage solution that allows us to safely upload and save personal and office data securely. Additionally, FileCloud has been a beneficial tool for document management in our business because it enables our stakeholders to send large documents via email links very easily.

    What is most valuable?

FileCloud is a strong and adaptable file sharing and collaboration tool.

The best features FileCloud offers include top-notch security features such as two-factor authentication and data encryption, which ensure the security of our files and data. It also ensures the web interface is very easy to use and user-friendly, and it provides a very intuitive and user-friendly mobile application.

The security features and user-friendly interface have positively impacted my day-to-day work because the mobile app has been very helpful as we can work on the go. We can share files and collaborate on the go seamlessly and intuitively. When it comes to security factors such as two-factor authentication, it has been a great addition to security because we are able to safeguard our files and data, resulting in no notable data breaches. The intuitive web interface makes it easy to use, even for non-technical users.

FileCloud has positively impacted my organization by increasing the security of files and data from 40% to 55%. We have been able to collaborate seamlessly, even when working remotely with our stakeholders, clients, and customers. We have also been able to be more productive because we can share files, data, and other documents and collaborate on projects easily.

    What needs improvement?

I would suggest that the cost could be reduced to give smaller organizations a chance to afford this tool.

When dealing with large data sets, I have noticed that FileCloud is sometimes a bit slow, which is an area where improvement is needed.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using FileCloud for the past five years and several months.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

FileCloud is stable, as I have not experienced any lagging or downtime.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

FileCloud's scalability is very good because it can handle my organization's growth.

How are customer service and support?

The customer support is very proactive, responsive, and solution-oriented.

How would you rate customer service and support?

    Negative

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

I previously used Dropbox before switching to FileCloud.

The specific reason we switched from Dropbox to FileCloud is that FileCloud is much more cost-effective compared to Dropbox. Additionally, some of the features of Dropbox are more complex compared to FileCloud. With FileCloud, anyone can use it with minimal supervision. FileCloud also offers the flexibility to host everything on our own server, which is the flexibility we needed.

    What was our ROI?

I have seen a return on investment, as our team members have been more productive in accessing the data they need at any time and anywhere, as long as they are connected to the internet. Collaboration has also improved, and the security posture in my organization has increased.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

My experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing is that the price is relatively competitive and affordable. However, as I mentioned, the price could be reduced for smaller organizations to afford this tool.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

Before choosing FileCloud, I evaluated OneDrive as an option.

What other advice do I have?

FileCloud has been a very positive experience overall.

I love the integration plugin for Outlook and Office applications, as it makes it easy to share files.

My advice to others looking into using FileCloud is that it is a flexible tool that allows a company to host everything on their own servers and have full administrative access to everything they need. It is also very cost-effective, easy to use, and facilitates easy sharing of data and files with strong security features to prevent any data breaches. Therefore, it is a highly recommendable tool.
