A Well-Architected Review is a structured review of your existing environment by a certified AWS Solutions Architect Professional who has completed in-depth training on AWS architectural best practices. Well-Architected Reviews are not technical deep dives, though the conversations may get quite technical. They are intended to be higher level discussions with a small group of stakeholders over a period of 2-4 hours in a single session, preferably face-to-face and near a whiteboard. It is possible to perform a review on an entire account, or several accounts, or just individual portions of a single account depending on the complexity. The review is focused on addressing the five pillars of a well-built workload:
