    Generation of specific raster indices tailored to your geospatial needs using open or your own custom Earth Observation data. This includes but is not limited to vegetation indices like NDVI or NDWI, urban indices for built-up area monitoring, or specialized indices for agriculture like moisture index. Specialized raster indexes could be also made for construction, or geological applications. Provide your requirements to us with your order, such as the area of interest and the type of analysis needed, and our platform will process the data to generate the requested indices. The processed data can then be delivered back to you as a secure download in a user-friendly electronic format (GeoTIFF, JPEG, PDF) for further analysis or visualization. Choose from a list of readily available raster indices formulas or request generation of the specific or custom index based on your formula to be computed.

    Overview

    The MONITORED AI platform offers seamless data integration from open optical and radar remote sensing sources, including Sentinel-2, ASTER, Landsat-8, and Sentinel-1. Clients can enrich these EO datasets on demand, with native integration options for commercial satellites like WorldView-3 and TerraSAR-X. The platform excels in rapid data acquisition, ingestion, formation of Analysis Ready Data, and creation of RGB composites and scalar indices tailored to your needs.

    Color Composite Single from EO Source Imagery RGB composite images are crafted by assigning various bands or band ratios to the RGB channels of the composite GeoTIFF image, using raw images from Sentinel-1 or Sentinel-2 satellites. This process yields visual representations that simplify the interpretation and communication of geospatial data. Available RGB Combinations:

    1. Sentinel-1: False color Polarimetric SAR, False color Differential SAR
    2. Sentinel-2: True color (uncorrected TOA and corrected BOA), false color, SWIR, agriculture, geology, atmospheric penetration, healthy vegetation, land/water, and snow indexes. Color Composite Pair from Differential SAR Imagery A color composite pair is produced by assigning different bands to RGB channels from two overlapping SAR images of the same region. These composites reveal surface changes over time, aiding in environmental monitoring and detecting land cover changes and water body variations.

    Available RGB Combinations for Sentinel-1:

    • Surface change detection using Differential SAR
    • Enhanced SAR visualizations (PolSAR, DiffSAR, etc.)
    • SAR-ABS (Absolute value SAR)

    Available RGB Combinations for Commercial SAR Satellites:

    • Surface change detection using Differential SAR techniques
    • Supported sources: Radarsat-2, TXS, CosmoSkymed, Paz.

    Scalar Index Generation Scalar indices generate single-channel images based on predefined arithmetic expressions applied to raw satellite imagery. Different spectral indices are available depending on the satellite instruments used.

      • Geology: Alteration/Clay, Ferrous Minerals, Ferrous Iron, Ferrous Silicates, Iron Oxide
    3. ASTER:
      • Geology: Quartz Index, Carbonate Index, SiO2 Content Index, Mafic Index, Mafic Ultramafic Index, Relative Band Depth, Ferric Index
      • Vegetation: GNDVI, GSAVI
      • Temperature Difference Index, 3 Visible and Near InfraRed bands, 5 Thermal InfraRed bands.
    4. WorldView-3 (commercial orders required): Alteration, AKP, Clay, Ferric Iron, Ferric Oxides, Ferrous Silicates, Panchromatic band, 8 VNIR bands, 8 SWIR bands.

    Principal Component Analysis (PCA) PCA is a dimensionality reduction technique that transforms original data variables into uncorrelated principal components, capturing most variability for efficient analysis and visualization. PCA outputs can be used for RGB image composites like the EcoSpectral index, distinguishing urban areas, vegetation, and water bodies. This method is particularly useful for analyzing ASTER L1T, Sentinel-2, and WorldView-3 multispectral and hyperspectral satellite imagery.

    Data Delivery and Visualization Processed data is delivered in geo-standard compliant formats (GeoTIFF) for visualization and further analysis and can also be provided as JPEG and PDF documents for reporting. Clients may opt for interactive publishing on our web-based MONITORED AI SaaS platform for EO data visualization, offering secure access and tools to explore and interact with public and private data. The platform is available on a flexible, monthly subscription basis, with a 10% discount for annual subscriptions.
