You buy prepaid credits in three fixed amounts, and the credits never expire. Each option works the same way: you draw down the balance as you use the service. Transcription bills at a per-minute rate, while translation bills at a per-1,000-character rate. The three options differ only by how much credit you fund upfront. Larger balances let you cover more usage before you need to reload. You choose the credit amount that fits your expected media localization workload.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
How do transcription and translation charges draw down my credit balance?
Both charges bill from the same prepaid credit balance. Transcription meters by the minute of media. Translation meters per 1,000 characters of text. Each task reduces your balance by its own rate. Both can run against the same balance, so mixed workloads draw down together until the credits are used.
How many characters does a typical subtitle project use for translation billing?
Translation bills per 1,000 characters. A 10-minute media asset typically contains between 1,500 and 9,000 characters. So a short clip uses a small fraction of your balance, while longer or dialogue-heavy content consumes more. Character count, not minutes, drives translation cost.
Do my credits expire if I do not use them within a set period?
No. Credits never expire. You draw them down as you use transcription and translation, at your own pace. Any balance you fund upfront stays available until you consume it, with no time limit forcing you to use it.
