CSG Ascendon is a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) AWS platform that enables providers to launch new digital services and quickly participate in the digital economy. CSG Ascendon enables operators transforming their rating and charging platform into a highly scalable and flexible, cloud-native SaaS, in turn, helping them successfully deploy new services like 5G while minimizing risks and optimizing operational costs. CSG Ascendon can be configured to support any combination of product offerings and business eligibility rules to determine how they are sold across a subscriber base in a matter of minutes. It enables balance sharing across multiple devices and services and affords operators with the ability to charge dynamically based on network events, with real-time notifications to help engage the customer. As charging solutions are business critical applications, CSG Ascendon is resilient by design: the solution provides high availability and is geographically distributed across multiple AWS availability zones (AZs) to help ensure a fail-proof operating environment.
