Overview
TrueStack Server
TrueStack Server interface
TrueStack is a VPN platform created specifically for Windows Active Directory environments. Unlike generic VPN solutions, TrueStack provides the routing stability and network requirements needed for full remote AD management, including Group Policy, authentication, scripts, and domain join. It allows remote users to work from any network worldwide while maintaining a dependable connection to your domain controller.
TrueStack runs inside your AWS VPC, giving you secure connectivity between remote devices and your cloud-hosted or on-premises Windows servers. It supports Windows, Mac, and Linux clients, enabling consistent management of roaming laptops and distributed teams.
This solution is ideal for MSPs and IT departments supporting remote or hybrid workforces, as well as organizations running Windows Active Directory in AWS, Azure, or hybrid environments. TrueStack removes the common issues that traditional VPNs create with remote AD management, making GPO, domain joins, login scripts, and file share access work reliably over the internet.
Key capabilities include full Active Directory compatibility, unlimited device connections with no per-user licensing, cross-platform VPN clients, simple user and device management, optimized routing for AD traffic, and seamless operation for remote users on any network.
TrueStack is commonly used for managing remote Windows endpoints with Active Directory, applying Group Policies over the internet, performing secure remote domain joins, supporting hybrid or cloud-hosted server environments, and providing MSP-managed secure access to cloud-hosted servers.
Deployment is simple. Launch the TrueStack AMI into your VPC, assign an Elastic IP, disable Source/Destination Check on the instance, add a route for the TrueStack subnet to the instance in your VPC route table, and log in to the TrueStack interface to begin adding users and devices.
Because TrueStack operates entirely inside your own VPC, you maintain full control of your security, encryption keys, and logs while following AWS security best practices. Support is available through documentation, email assistance, and optional MSP onboarding help.
