Overview
Runpod Hybrid Cloud brings Runpod's GPU orchestration and developer experience to compute that lives outside Runpod's own physical fleet.
How it works: onboard a non-Runpod GPU machine by running a single host-agent install command. Runpod verifies the machine and promotes it into a private pool scoped exclusively to your organization, so it's usable only within your account and never enters the public pool. From there, deploy Runpod workloads (pods) onto your machines with top priority, using the same tools and workflows you already use on Runpod. Deployed workloads are visibly marked as running on your RPE resources, so they're easy to distinguish from standard Runpod compute.
This release focuses on single-machine onboarding with local NVMe storage, giving you a fast, low-friction way to combine hardware you already have with the orchestration and developer experience Runpod customers already value, without changing how you interact with the platform.
Highlights
- Bring your own GPU machines into a private pool with exclusive, top-priority access scoped to your organization.
- Deploy Runpod workloads directly onto your onboarded hardware using the same orchestration and developer experience you already use on Runpod.
- Simple onboarding via a single host-agent install command, with local NVMe storage for workload data.
