PwC’s solution connects business, risk and technology data, giving business owners a one stop shop for insights into the health of their processes and controls, either used for risk governance or transformation governance use cases. The solution achieves the objectives by ingesting existing technology data and linking it to key operational controls using AWS's AI capabilities including large language models (LLMs) and AI agents.
Overview
Most organizations treat observability as purely / mostly for technical platforms, our differentiated approach is to lead with risk, leveraging our Global No.1 position in this space. Providing an advanced and real-time view of risk & compliance will in return pave the way for faster AWS services adoption with higher confidence from both business, risk and technology functions.
The proposed solution includes:
- Secure data lake using Amazon S3
- Data ingestion via AWS Glue from various enterprise data sources.
- Data cleansing, processing and extracting units, real-time compliance validation and metrics creation also via AWS Glue
- Compliance Check utilising Bedrock AI Agent as well as Bedrock KnowledgeBase to provide RAG on imported regulation and policies
- Finally, the custom observability of continuous compliance - metrics, dashboards and alarms.
Compliance status is dependent on complex correlations between technology, business, and risk data points, in line with local regulatory requirements, and corporate governance policies.
