After activation, create a Marketplace Light API key and connect a compatible remote MCP client. Start or reuse public website scans, check progress, and retrieve findings, report evidence, and report links when available. A scan is one privacy check of a public website you submit through the scanner. New scans count toward your limits: up to 50 per UTC day and 5 per rolling 10 minutes. Reusing an eligible recent result does not count as a new scan.
When you reach the limit, the service returns a rate-limit response with a wait time. You wait for that reset rather than paying more, since this is the free option. The daily allowance resets at UTC midnight; the 10-minute window resets on a rolling basis.
The free option scans public websites without an account and returns public reports only. It does not include access to previous saved scans, team or workspace access, or advanced diagnostic tools. It also excludes login-protected target sites. For higher volume or these features, you contact the vendor.

Activate your access
- Subscribe to this free AWS Marketplace offering.
- Choose “Set up your account.”
- Sign in or create a CertScore account.

Keys expire after 90 days. Replacing a key invalidates the previous key; initialize a new MCP session with the replacement.

Workflow
Start or reuse a scan and retain the returned scan ID. While pending, check status at the returned interval. Stop polling terminal scans. Retrieve the result bundle and paginated evidence when available. Do not treat partial previews as final results.
Usage limits and errors
The shared public Light allowance and scan/retrieval limits apply. This offering does not add a per-buyer scan allowance. Honor Retry-After on 429 responses.
401 means the key is missing, invalid, expired, revoked, or its subscription is inactive. 503 means a dependency is temporarily unavailable; retry later.
