What we review
- Compute: idle and oversized EC2 instances, ECS and EKS workloads, and where AWS Graviton or Spot instances fit
- Commitments: Savings Plans and Reserved Instances coverage compared with your real usage
- Storage: S3 lifecycle rules, unused EBS volumes and old snapshots
- Network: NAT Gateway, cross-AZ and internet data transfer costs
- Kubernetes: resource requests compared with what pods actually use
- AI spend: Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker and GPU instances
- Tagging: cost allocation by team, product and environment, so you can see who spends what
How it works
- Kickoff call: we learn how your product and teams use AWS.
- Read-only access: you create an IAM role with read-only and billing view permissions. We never change anything during the review.
- Analysis: we use AWS Cost Explorer, Compute Optimizer and Trusted Advisor, plus Xplorr, our own cloud cost management product.
- Report and walkthrough: a prioritized list of findings, each with the effort needed and its expected impact on your account, presented on a call with your team.
- Optional: we apply the changes for you, or your team does it using the plan.
After the review
Savings only last if someone keeps watching. We can set you up on Xplorr (xplorr.io), our cost management product, so your team gets anomaly alerts, budgets and savings recommendations across AWS, Azure, GCP and AI providers.
