Pricing is based on actual usage, with charges varying according to how much you consume. Subscriptions have no end date and may be canceled any time. Alternatively, you can pay upfront for a contract, which typically covers your anticipated usage for the contract duration. Any usage beyond contract will incur additional usage-based costs.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
You are billed by the hour for the AWS EC2 instance you run this software on. This listing covers management of up to 5,000 computers with a single user license. The dimensions are not tiers or feature levels. Each one maps to a specific EC2 instance type, such as compute-optimized, memory-optimized, storage-optimized, and general-purpose families in various sizes. You pick the instance that fits your workload and processing needs. Your hourly cost changes with the instance type you select. Larger instances carry higher hourly rates. Software capability stays the same across all instance choices.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does the software actually manage, and how many devices does this listing cover?
This listing manages up to 5,000 computers with a single user license. You control desktops, laptops, servers, and mobile devices from one console. Tasks include patch deployment, software installation, asset inventory, remote troubleshooting, and OS imaging across Windows, Mac, and Linux.
Am I charged when the EC2 instance running this software is stopped?
The software meters running instance-hours only. A fully stopped instance does not accrue hourly software charges. Note that stopped instances may still incur underlying AWS storage fees for attached volumes, but those are separate from the software licence billing.
Does picking a larger EC2 instance change the software features or the device count I can manage?
No. The software capability and the 5,000 computer, single user coverage stay the same across every instance type. Instance size affects only your hourly rate and processing capacity. You choose based on workload performance needs, not feature access.

ManageEngine UEM, Great Products at a Great Value!

What do you like best about the product?
The amount of products and services you get with UEM compared to the cost is a great value. I've used quite a bit of the products, like patch management, configuration pushes, OS imaging (remote imaging too), reporting. It's been an essential product we are looking to move most of our brands to. Their customer support is always very helpful and if they don't know the answer right away, they will find the answer and get back to me. We've used this for device management too and is a great tool to help for budgeting hardware refreshes since it integrates device warranties. Another nice touch with device management is the ability to do a remote device wipe for a fast redeploy option.
What do you dislike about the product?
Small things, like menu items not alphabetized to find options faster, can't create dynamic groups by search tags or location. This is a big one if you have a bunch of machines named the same for like POS related items.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before Endpoint Central, managing devices across multiple restaurant brands and locations meant juggling different tools and a lot of manual work. Endpoint Central gives us one console to patch, configure, monitor, and support devices at every site. Patching is now automated and consistent, which keeps us more secure and helps with compliance requirements. Real-time alerts let us catch issues like offline devices or full hard drives before they affect store operations. Remote access and the command shell mean we can fix most problems without sending someone on site, which saves time and travel. OS imaging and remote wipe make it fast to redeploy devices when a store needs a replacement. The warranty integration and reporting also give us better visibility into our hardware, so we can plan and budget refreshes instead of reacting to failures. Overall, it lets a small IT team support a large number of locations efficiently.
