What do you like best about the product?

I really like how Recorded Future brings threat intelligence into one place, making it easier to quickly identify potential threats. The real-time intelligence and clear insights are great for understanding emerging risks and help me prioritize what needs attention. It makes my day-to-day work much easier, saving me time by keeping updates and relevant context in one place, so I don't have to constantly jump between different sources. I also appreciate how I can quickly see which threats might matter to me, allowing me to focus my attention and feel more confident in my decisions. Additionally, the initial setup was quite easy.

What do you dislike about the product?

I think Recorded Future could improve its overall usability. Some parts can feel a little overwhelming, especially when you're first getting familiar with the platform due to the amount of information available. A simpler interface with more customized options for alerts and clearer guidance on which insights are most important would make it easier to get value from the platform quickly. It would also be helpful if some of the technical information was explained in a more straightforward way. Small improvements like these could make the overall experience feel more natural and easier to use.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use Recorded Future to monitor cyber threats, investigate indicators of compromise, and stay informed on vulnerabilities, making my day-to-day work easier with real-time updates and integrated threat intelligence.

What do you like best about the product?

Recorded Future delivers a strong overall experience, especially for organizations looking for a centralized platform for threat intelligence and security investigations. The UI is well structured, making it fairly easy to search for threats, investigate entities, and move between related pieces of intelligence without constantly jumping across multiple tools.

Integrations are another major strength. The ability to connect threat intelligence with existing security tools and workflows makes the information more practical day to day and can help reduce manual effort for security teams.

Performance is generally solid, particularly given the volume of data the platform processes. Searches and investigations feel responsive, although very broad or complex queries can understandably take longer.

From a pricing and ROI standpoint, Recorded Future can be a significant investment, especially for smaller organizations. That said, for teams that regularly conduct threat research and investigations, consolidating intelligence sources and automating parts of the research process can deliver meaningful value.

Support and onboarding also matter, since a platform with this level of functionality naturally comes with a learning curve. Strong documentation, clear guidance, and hands-on integration support can make a noticeable difference during adoption.

For me, the standout is the AI and intelligence capability. Recorded Future goes beyond providing raw security data by correlating information across sources and adding context that makes investigations faster and more actionable. Overall, the combination of data, intelligence, automation, and usability makes the platform particularly valuable for cybersecurity teams.

What do you dislike about the product?

The biggest drawback for me is that Recorded Future can feel complex and a bit overwhelming at first. With so many features, data sources, and investigation paths, new users may need time to understand how everything fits together. Some searches also return a very large volume of information, so filtering it down and identifying the most relevant results can take extra effort.

Pricing can also be hard to justify for smaller organizations or teams with limited security budgets. While the platform clearly provides strong value for organizations that actively use threat intelligence, the ROI may be less obvious for teams with simpler needs.

I also think some workflows could be more streamlined. In certain situations, moving between different pieces of intelligence or narrowing down results takes several steps, which can slow things down. Making these workflows simpler would help the product feel more accessible without sacrificing its depth.

Overall, my concerns are less about the quality of the intelligence and more about the complexity, cost, and making advanced functionality easier to use.

Recorded Future helps address the challenge of dealing with too much fragmented, constantly changing cybersecurity information. Rather than manually checking a long list of separate sources, it brings threat intelligence into one place and adds helpful context around threats, actors, vulnerabilities, and indicators.

For me, this makes security research and investigations faster and more structured. It reduces the amount of manual analysis I have to do, makes it easier to spot what’s actually relevant, and provides extra context that supports better security decisions. The AI-driven intelligence is especially valuable for linking related details and turning large volumes of raw data into more actionable insights.

What do you like best about the product?

good sources and quite easy to use AQB. good overview of the situation in the plafrom. like the AI o generate ad-gock report and investigate new and hot toppic. Good alartin and easy to work as a team in the platform.

like the sandbox, qorks quite good and possible to get the pcap, but should be nice if you also can dectrype ssl

What do you dislike about the product?

Limited WHOIS information compared to other intelligence platforms. Limited Passive DNS (pDNS) coverage and historical visibility. Malware analysis results sometimes lack the true source or origin details, which can be critical for understanding infection vectors and attribution. The macOS sandbox does not consistently handle certain zsh-based malware samples, leading to incomplete analysis results. It is not currently possible to search intelligence sources such as Docker containers/images for indicators, strings, or artefacts of interest, similar to the way source code repositories can be searched. When researching a subject, indicator, or threat actor, it would be valuable to automatically identify and surface any related alerts already present in the platform to improve analyst workflow and reduce investigation time.

Overall: Recorded Future provides strong threat intelligence coverage, but improvements in enrichment data (WHOIS/pDNS), malware analysis transparency, search capabilities across additional data sources, and tighter integration between investigations and existing alerts would significantly enhance the analyst experience.

The platform makes it easy to search and monitor discussions across forums and Telegram channels, providing valuable threat intelligence that would otherwise be time-consuming to collect manually. The sandbox is useful for obtaining an initial assessment of suspicious files and URLs, helping to quickly determine whether further investigation is required. Integrations with security tools have helped automate IOC sweeps across SIEM logs, improving detection efficiency and reducing manual analyst workload. The ability to correlate threat intelligence with internal security events has improved triage and prioritization of potential threats.

Overall: Recorded Future helps streamline threat intelligence collection, accelerate initial analysis of suspicious artifacts, and automate parts of the investigation process, allowing analysts to focus on higher-value activities.

I like Recorded Future because it allows me to use recorded sessions for meetings, which is really helpful if I get busy or distracted elsewhere. I really appreciate its user-friendly interface, which has no hidden catches, and the built-in recording feature that makes it easy to start and report sessions without needing another app like Zoom. It's easy and simple. I also use it for training purposes and as a CRM, which is great.

What do you dislike about the product?

I think the quality of the video recordings could definitely be improved. Sometimes the microphone quality is a bit of an issue too; I've noticed it stumbles occasionally, but it's not a huge problem.

I use Recorded Future to review meetings and gain insights when I've missed something. It's user-friendly and helps me with disruptions using recorded sessions. The built-in recording feature is convenient without needing extra apps, making it simple and quick to use.

The Intelligence Graph automatically correlates vast amounts of data across the open, deep, and dark web, which significantly speeds up our threat hunting and incident response workflows. Its seamless integration options with existing SIEM and security tools help streamline alerts, reduce false positives, and improve our overall cybersecurity posture.

What do you dislike about the product?

While Recorded Future is a powerful platform, its high cost can be prohibitive for smaller organizations or teams with tight budgets. The sheer volume of data and intelligence can also feel overwhelming initially, creating a steep learning curve for newer analysts. Navigating and customizing advanced query filters takes time to master, and fine-tuning alert settings is necessary to avoid notification fatigue from minor updates.
