Overview
Software teams that adopt AI coding tools (Claude Code, Kiro, others) follow the same trajectory:
- initial excitement
- a wall when the tool hits real codebase complexity
- quiet abandonment as developers stop trusting outputs that violate conventions, hallucinate APIs, or ignore the architecture.
The problem is rarely the tool. The fix is the scaffolding around it: project-specific rules, repeatable specifications, MCP-connected context, and AI-assisted patterns covering the full SDLC, not just code generation. Chaos Gears builds that scaffolding for your team, on your codebase, in five weeks.
The engagement covers four streams:
- assessment and tool selection (codebase audit, workflow mapping, real-task benchmarks of Claude Code and Kiro with cost projections);
- a spec-driven framework (full specs for new features, micro-specs for repetitive tasks,
- a reference library built from 10 to 15 of the team's own completed work items);
- project rules and MCP skills (per-repository rules, MCP skill definitions, prompt templates, context-separation guide for multi-repo setups, all version-controlled);
- developer enablement and measurement (three two-hour hands-on workshops, async support during the trial, a Pattern Effectiveness Report, a 30/60/90-day rollout plan, and a Cost Optimisation Guide).
AI-assisted patterns delivered cover the full SDLC: requirements (Ticket-to-Spec), code exploration (Subdomain Deep Dive, Trace the Flow), implementation (Spec-to-Scaffold, Spec-to-Plan-to-Code), testing (Spec-to-Tests, Edge Case Suggestion), code review (Pre-Review Check), and documentation (Doc-from-Spec). An optional Knowledge Base and MCP Server add-on extends the engagement with an Amazon Bedrock-powered retrieval system over the customer's architecture documentation, wired into the IDE via MCP skills. The chosen runtime can be Claude Code on Anthropic's seat-based plans, Claude on Amazon Bedrock in the customer's own AWS account on a pay-per-use basis, or Kiro for teams that prefer an AWS-native traditional IDE feel.
Customers walk away with measurable outcomes: greater than 50% effort reduction on repetitive tasks, 25 to 40% effort reduction on complex feature work, around 40% lower onboarding time for new developers, and greater than 70% weekly active AI tool use within eight weeks of rollout.
Chaos Gears is an AWS Premier Tier Services Partner with competencies in Agentic AI, Generative AI, Data and Analytics, and Migration. Our engineers use Claude Code, Kiro, and the broader AI coding ecosystem daily on our own delivery work for enterprise customers across financial services, healthcare, insurance, and retail; this offering transfers that operational knowledge to your team in a structured, measurable way. We are ISO/IEC 27001 and SOC 2 Type 2 certified on the partner side. Engagements are transacted as private offers on AWS Marketplace, with fixed scope, fixed milestones, and a written handover. A typical engagement runs five weeks from kickoff to rollout, with optional ongoing support for monitoring adoption, refining patterns, and adding new SDLC stages or repositories.
Highlights
- AI coding tools work when the scaffolding around them is right. Chaos Gears delivers spec-driven workflows, per-repository project rules, MCP skill definitions, prompt templates, and a context-separation guide for multi-repo setups. We design templates against your project structure and patterns, build a reference library from your own completed work, and version-control everything so it stays maintained after we leave.
- AI patterns across the full SDLC, not just code generation. Ticket-to-Spec for requirements, Subdomain Deep Dive and Trace the Flow for code exploration, Spec-to-Scaffold and Spec-to-Plan-to-Code for implementation, Spec-to-Tests and Edge Case Suggestion for testing, Pre-Review Check for code review, and Doc-from-Spec for documentation. Each pattern delivered as a reusable template with a worked example from the team's own backlog.
- Five-week engagement, four phases, measurable outcomes. Customers see greater than 50% effort reduction on repetitive tasks, 25 to 40% effort reduction on complex work, around 40% lower onboarding time for new developers, and greater than 70% weekly active AI tool use within eight weeks of rollout. Delivered by an AWS Premier Tier Services Partner with competencies in Agentic AI, Generative AI, Data and Analytics, and Migration. ISO/IEC 27001 and SOC 2 Type 2 certified.

Chaos Gears responds to every buyer inquiry within two business days. After a private offer is accepted, we assign a dedicated AI Architect with hands-on Claude Code and Kiro experience plus an Engagement Manager who own delivery from the initial assessment through 30/60/90-day adoption review. During delivery, customers receive working-hours support Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00 CET, via email and a shared Slack or Microsoft Teams channel, with response SLAs documented in the Statement of Work.
Post-engagement support included with every delivery covers: async support during the rollout trial, Pattern Effectiveness Report, 30/60/90-day adoption plan, and a Cost Optimisation Guide for sustainable operating spend. Extended managed services (ongoing pattern refinement, new SDLC stages, additional repositories, model and prompt upgrade cycles, expansion to new engineering teams) are available through a follow-on private offer.
For issues related to underlying AWS services (Amazon Bedrock for Claude on Bedrock, AWS infrastructure supporting Kiro), Chaos Gears coordinates escalation with AWS Support on the customer's behalf where required, using our AWS Premier Tier Services Partner standing.
