See Legacy AWS Free Tier for more details.
You pay by the hour for support on Rocky Linux 10, billed per Amazon EC2 instance you run. Each pricing line matches one EC2 instance type, so your hourly rate depends on the size and family you choose. Smaller instances like t2.nano or t3.micro carry lower hourly rates, while large memory, compute, storage, and accelerated types such as u-24tb1.metal, r8i.96xlarge, or p5.48xlarge carry higher rates. There are no tiers or upfront commitments. Charges accrue only for the hours each supported instance runs, scaling directly with your instance choices and usage.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does the hourly charge cover, and what do I get with it?
The hourly charge pays for support on Rocky Linux 10 running on the matching EC2 instance type. You get a support team to help launch and resolve issues. Each product is audited and tested against security controls. The rate reflects the size and family of the instance you run.
Am I charged when my EC2 instance is stopped or paused?
Charges accrue only for the hours each supported instance runs. A stopped instance does not run, so no support hours accrue for it. Charges resume when you start the instance again. AWS may still bill underlying storage separately, but this listing meters running hours only.
What counts as one billable unit for this support?
One unit is one running EC2 instance of the matching type, billed per hour. Each instance you launch bills separately at its own type's rate. Running ten instances of one type accrues ten times that hourly rate. Different types on the same account each carry their own rate.
