    An AWS Cloud Security Assessment is an evaluation of your Amazon Web Services environment, focusing on several key areas to identify vulnerabilities, risk and compliance gaps, and misconfigurations. The primary goal is to provide findings and action items that strengthen your defenses, improve compliance, and build a stronger AWS environment.

    This will begin with a scan of the environment, analysis of the report, and manual validation of the vulnerabilities through penetration testing.

    The primary areas of focus for the AWS Security assessment include, but are not limited to:

  • Security Roles and Access Controls
  • Data Loss Prevention, Collection, and Storage (S3, misconfigured ACLs, EC2 instances)
  • Security Policies and Recommendations
  • Identity and Access Management (IAM) – Users, Roles, Privileges
  • Firewall Configurations
  • Ongoing Security Monitoring
  • Security Center Detection Capabilities
  • Cloud-Native Services (Route53, Lambda, etc.)
  • Applications & APIs hosted in AWS

    • A senior consultant with TCM Security, an Educate 360 company, will work closely with your organization to gather information about your current AWS security posture. This will include a live channel for Q&A, virtual meetings, and information sharing.

    Time to Complete: 5 Business Days

    Deliverables:

  • Detailed report highlighting key findings and recommendations for improvement
  • Executive Summary
  • Letter of Attestation
  • Any output/reporting/CSVs of any tools used, including vulnerability scanning
  • Live comm channel with the penetration testers
  • A retest and final report will be provided post-remediation
