Apache APISIX on APISEVEN Platform
Product Overview
Apache APISIX is composed of three parts: data plane, control plane, and intelligent plane.
Data plane: Use Lua and Nginx to control request traffic dynamically, and implement various traffic processing through plug-in mechanisms: request limiting and speed limiting, logging, security detection, fault injection, etc., while supporting users to write custom plug-ins to extend the data plane.
Control plane: Use etcd to store and synchronize the configuration data of the gateway. The administrator can notify all data plane processors at the millisecond level through the admin API or dashboard. At the same time, etcd can also ensure the high availability of the system.
Intelligent plane: Developers can use DAG (Directed Acyclic Graph) to orchestrate plug-ins, and use decision trees to analyze and process request traffic in real-time.
APISIX can help you process critical business traffic more securely and faster, including dynamic routing, dynamic upstream, dynamic certificates, A/B testing, canary release (gray release), blue-green deployment, request limit and speed limit, and prevent malicious attacks, monitoring alarms, service observability, service governance, etc.
APISIX has a complete and powerful community and developer ecosystem. Through the existing 40 plugins, you can interact with multiple external systems such as Apache SkyWalking, Zipkin, etcd, Consul, Nacos, Eureka, Auth0, Okta, Prometheus, Datadog, etc. to process and analyze the data.
