    Overview

    NTT DATA Migration factory services, built for purpose tooling and methodology to migrate your VMware assets to AWS.

    Discovery and assessment

    Gather data such as server and instance counts, compute resourcing and application dependency mapping.

    Intake and wave planning

    Speed of migration and impact to production and non-production systems is assessed. Wave planning is determined by dependency mapping and overall pace of physical migration required.

    Migration execution

    • Pre-Flight Migration Validation – Verify applications and servers will migrate successfully, flag potential issues ahead of time

    • Base/Initial Replication - Migration factory will setup and execute initial full application workload migration to AWS

    • Delta/Incremental Replication - Migration factory will provide block-base or file-based synchronization depending on requirements for testing and cutover.

    • Delivery – PMO managed delivery with regular updates, status calls

    Post Migration Validation

    Post migration ensures workload(s) are ready for the customer and transitions to a UAT phase that may be required. Validation includes functional testing and transfer details as well as application ready-validation.

    Managed Services Handoff (optional)

    Customer may choose to engage NTT DATA for post migration managed services and support.
